The Austin Sanctuary Network is excited to announce that Grassroots Leadership, a nonprofit in Austin, TX, will match up to $5000 of donations received June 2 - June 8! Can you help take advantage of this awesome offer by donating during this time? Your donation will provide funds to hire an organizer whose main task will be to help free 3 immigrants friends, Hilda, Ivan and Alirio, from the confines of sanctuary and make it possible for them to live a safe, FREE life.
We, the Austin Sanctuary Network, stand in solidarity with undocumented immigrants who are being held unjustly and denied legal status.
The Austin Sanctuary Network, is looking for a dynamic organizer to help us in our important work of directly supporting three immigrants: Hilda Ramirez, her son Ivan, and Alirio Gamez who are living in sanctuary at two member congregations in Austin, Texas.
If deported, Hilda and Alirio would face certain death in their home countries and Ivan would be separated from his loving mother. Austin Sanctuary Network is preventing them from being deported and working to ensure that their basic human rights of life, liberty, and safety are protected.
To continue our mission and strengthen our organization, we need an additional $15,000 to hire a dynamic professional organizer. Will you help us by making a tax deductible donation to this campaign?
Hilda, Ivan, and Alirio need our help and support to advocate for their freedom. Your donation aids the Austin Sanctuary Network as it works to become stronger and furthers our mission of protecting the human rights of immigrants across the United States. A salaried organizer will help us expand our local nonprofit into a powerful national advocacy organization that helps even more immigrants who are in danger.
