Who are we? Consider Haiti is a 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization based in Asheville, North Carolina. It has one objective – to promote the health and welfare of children in Haiti.
We have big dreams and plans for our programs and will remain true to our core mission— to create awareness of the Haitian children's struggles and to provide local resources needed to address their problems.
However, maintaining funding for our programs is an ongoing battle. Our work is ongoing and we need your help to continue helping thousands of kids.

How Can You Help? Below you will find a wishlist of our Asheville Marathon runners who are fundraising to support Consider Haiti. Our goal is for each runner to raise $1000 to go directly to support Consider Haiti.
We will also volunteer at a water station during the Half Marathon on Saturday as part of the charity Water Station Contest! If you are running, please vote for us!
The Contest: We encourage non-profits and groups to ‘dress up’ their designated water stations. The loudest, funnest, decorative and most awesome aid station will receive $500 to go towards their charity. Runners will vote on the best water station at the conclusion of the event! Organizations must provide a minimum of 10 volunteers to be eligible for the water station contest.
