You can make music programs more accessible to kids & adults nationwide.
The ASCAP Foundation keeps music education in our public schools and communities, nurtures the talent of songwriters, and embraces music's power to heal through music therapy. While arts budgets get cut in our localities, The ASCAP Foundation works hard to ensure that the future of music education remains in cities and towns nationwide. No one should be denied creative opportunities because they can't afford it.
Music education is known to improve a child's self-esteem, communication skills, math abilities, and helps close the academic gap between rich & economically poor students. Music therapy helps those who have PTSD, autism, and brain injury. Music creation is a healthy creative outlet for every age, and can even translate into a career.
With the help of supporters like you, The ASCAP Foundation is able to impact over 3.5 million people each year with 150 music programs including, Public School Music Education Initiatives, Summer Music Camps, Music Therapy, Songwriter Workshops, Music Scholarships, and Music Awards.
