The recent global health crisis has had a huge impact on the arts industry. Artists, musicians, and performers dependent on live events and face-to-face interactions have lost their main source of income, and it is uncertain when (and if) they will be able to resume their livelihood as normal.
Artist Relief Project is an initiative by 501c3 nonprofit Artly World to provide financial support to individual artists who have been directly impacted by COVID19-related event cancellations and venue closures. The Project offers relief by providing affected artists with cash relief mini-grants and resources to support their professional and economic pursuits in the arts.
How Will the Funds Be Used?
Funds raised will provide financial relief to artists in two ways: (1) in the short term in the form of one-time cash relief of $200 and (2) in the longer term in the form of programs and resources to help artists adapt to post-COVID circumstances and continue pursuing the arts as a financially viable endeavor.
Who is Eligible to Receive Support? And How do They Apply?
Any adult individual pursuing the arts as a career (any discipline, any level of experience) who has been impacted by COVID19-related cancellations and closures may request support. Eligible artists may learn more and apply for relief at this link.
