Help vulnerable children reach academic and emotional success after the pandemic.
School may be canceled, but class isn't. For many students and parents, this presents new challenges as they transition to homeschooling. Particularly hard hit are the families from low-income areas who were already struggling to keep up with limited resources.
After Hurricane Katrina, affected students took up to two years to regain the knowledge lost during the crisis, with low-income communities of color being hit the hardest.
Crayon Collection is committed to supporting students committed during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the last 4 weeks, we have donated crayons, paper, and our Arts in Education curriculum to over 4,000 families in need, helping to bridge 'brain drain' through engaging art projects that teach common core standards.
With your support, Crayon Collection will continue to provide necessary services to those in need, helping to ensure student success after the pandemic ends.
