I have the opportunity to participate in the Ann Arbor Walk To Cure Lupus on 5/19/19.
This year's walk is particuarly meaningful to me after this past July's hospitalization with lupus nephritis. It certainly was the most serious complications of lupus I've experienced yet, but it reminded me of how fortunate I am to have a strong support network in my family and friends across the country. I thank God everyday that my health continues to continue to improve and that I'm still able to work hard in residency and do the things I love to do.
If you're in town and available, Kyle and I invite you to join Team Yost and sign up at https://milupus.org/ and come walk with us! Otherwise, you can join my virtual team here.
We are grateful for donations of any amount and all proceeds benefit the Michigan Lupus Foundation which suppots locals with lupus as well as research efforts to find a cure.
For more of my experience with lupus, you can read our blog here.
Thank you everyone near and far for your support!
Olivia (& Kyle)
