I am thrilled to be running the 2020 Boston Marathon for the Animal Rescue League of Boston! I am running my first marathon for a cause I care very deeply about. Now hold on, I know most of you are going “His first marathon!?”, I have done a half marathon up a mountain if that counts for anything. Let us see how heartbreak hill stands up to the Kismet Mountains, shall we?
However, joking aside, I am up for the challenge and I am striving to accomplish as much as I can. I know this will be an amazingly rewarding experience and a tough one. I will need the help of all of you to keep me going but also to help raise the funds! This organization truly has a special place in my heart. Not only do I work for it, but also it has given me one of the greatest joys in my life, my rabbit Chestnut! He is included in the pictures and is an amazing little rabbit that is housebroken and lives as an apartment rabbit. He truly is my one in a million! Just ask anyone I know I talk about him…. A LOT! This organization does so much more than just help people adopt a wonderful pet though!
This organization helps so many animals not only in Mass but also around the country. ARL is at the forefront of animal welfare, having helped create animal cruelty prevention and reporting tools, training others on tactical rescues and all manner of many other things. Having been with ARL for over 2 years, I have seen some amazing things and some truly horrific ones, but the animals keep you coming back. The animals truly need our help and we cannot accomplish what we do without you! So please consider donating to my campaign as I strive to raise money for animals not only in the state of Mass but all over the country.
Any amount that you are able to donate is appreciated, and if you cannot donate, please share this campaign to help even more people become champions for animals!
If you donate and your donation is above $20 and you would like to add a song to my running playlist please add it in the donation comment!! $20/song
If you are interested in sponsoring a mile, please let me know!
Time to put those paws to the ground and get running!
