We appreciate ALL of your thoughtful donations to help us kick off this new program and help out with the medical costs for our Jack. This campaign is now closed.
CCHS is dedicated to saving animals in our community. We realize that saving animals takes on many different meanings. Meet Jack, our first Kitty Corner senior palliative care/hospice kitty. Jack needs your help. Jack is a loving, gentle cat with a big personality and a pretty tough past. He was found on the streets with his best buddy Charlie, both of them declawed, and Jack severely emaciated. Jack was just diagnosed with small cell lymphoma, which is treatable, and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment to see if it will help. We are grateful for the opportunity to give a cat like Jack a second chance at life. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for our Seniors and Hospice program to be able to provide care for Jack and other seniors who are often overlooked and surrendered at the shelters due to illness, owner surrender or age. As a no needless kill, free roam shelter, your generous donation goes towards much needed, life sustaining medicine, food and supplies to support animals like Jack who are in our care.
Every bit helps, thank you! Jack is counting on you to help him finally experience his best life.
