TJoin me as I walk for Recovery!!
Throughout September 2019, Oregon Recovers will celebrate National Recovery Month with statewide Walk for Recovery events. The Walk for Recovery began in Portland in 2018 as the first benefit walk for addiction recovery in Oregon history. With this event, Oregon Recovers is creating a unique opportunity for people in recovery and their friends and family to strengthen their recovery by generating funds for the public education and advocacy work of Oregon Recovers.
The Eugene event, a 2-mile benefit walk which kicks off with a rally at the Owen Rose Garden, will take participants past many of the touchstone organizations - like the Willamette Family Women's Center, the Jesco Club and the Buckley Detoxification Center - that help Oregonians suffering from addiction find their way out of the darkness of their disease and on to the path of long-term recovery.
