As a single father of two amazing five-year-old twins Kennedy and William, and as a 4th generation family business owner, it was instilled upon me from a very young age always to support others & help them become the best version of themselves.
As a father, I try to ensure my children always know how much they are loved, and that they find comfort in knowing they have my support as they thrive and be unique in the individuals that they are.
For my friends and my family, I strive to provide them comfort that I will always be there for them in the good times and the hard times as well.
For my employees I always try to give them the support and motivation they need to achieve their goals and become the best versions of themselves every day.
For all the many other people my life crosses paths with, I try to take a step back and wonder what could be one thing I could do help this person today and help them look forward to the future as well.
As some of you know, my daughter Kennedy has a rare chromosome deletion, and although she has some unique health challenges, she is loved greatly by all that know her. She is truly a blessing to everyone she meets. I know she is going to have a long and fruitful life, despite some of the unfortunate challenges she will face along the way. During those times I have spent in the hospital, I cannot imagine the challenges these other families are going through. Spending time and supporting their young daughter or son that has an incurable disease and knowing they might only have a few months to live. My heart aches as I try to imagine their pain.
You now know a brief recap of my personal life/blessings/challenges, and I now come to you with a request. I am asking for your support. As a member of my family, my friends, and my business colleagues, I ask that you stand with me in the fight against Pediatric Brain Cancer, specifically DIPG. Let's stand together and help find a cure to DIPG and provide much-needed support in the lives of the families who are affected by this horrible disease. Please support my dance partner Allison and me as we dance to raise awareness and raise money to fight DIPG.
Thank you in advance for your support.
