Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I have always swear that I will never deep into the Hudson river ever again. Because of a serious (unexpected) surgery, I wanted to run thru the Big Apple and discover the Athletic magic of this beautiful city that I call home for over 20 years. Since 2014, I have participate to many races, all 5 boroughs runs, NYC-Tri, NYC Marathon, NYC Challenge, Climb to the Top (Rockfeller) Tunnel to Tower (1 World Trade Center), 30m Bike ride... supporting amazing organizations like TFK (everyone I meet on that journey is my dear family Team For Kids), MS, T2TClimb, Run2buildSchool... and while fundraising can be a pain(...) the proud of giving to someone is need is the best reward and feeling.
This inspiration and "force of character" is nourish by 2 men that have been my models for a decade or so. The stories of each Yannick and Alex, their eternal fight to make it better, enjoy life with handicap, and reaching out for every one of us to be aware what it means to leave on a wheel chair and what we can do is mind blowing. Now you may understand why, with not a second of hesitation, I sign in to run my 3nd NYC-Tri to support Wheeling Forward and in return of your generous contributions, I will deep into the Hudson river on July 1st. Merci a tous.
Wheeling Forward is excited to run The Axis Project, a new and innovative multidisciplinary center specifically designed for people with disabilities! See the video on the left to watch the Axis Project in action! The Axis Project is a first-of-its-kind health and wellness center in Manhattan that motivates people with physical disabilities to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle.
