Dear Family and Friends,
The goal of my senior project is to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease and raise money for Alzheimer's research. I was inspired by my grandmother's devastating journey with severe dementia to focus my senior project on increasing awareness and raising donations for Alzheimer's disease, given that Alzheimer's disease is the most widespread form of dementia. I welcome your ability to help me achieve my goal, whether it is in the form of a monetary donation or spreading awareness. Please visit this link to learn more about my senior project:
All of the proceeds will be donated to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund located in Wellesley, MA. It is a non profit organization that is exclusively committed to finding a cure for the disease and donates 100% of its funds to Alzheimer's research. At its current rate, one in three senior citizens in the United States dies from some form of dementia, and Alzheimer’s is expected to affect over 115 million people worldwide by the year 2050. It is likely that everyone will encounter someone with Alzheimer’s in their lifetime or develop it themselves. Given these appalling statistics, it is absolutely critical that there is a greater awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and a focus on its treatment research. We have learned that science and research makes a monumental impact on the day-to-day life of millions of people all over the world. A greater focus on Alzheimer's disease research has the potential to save millions of lives in the future, including possibly those of ourselves, our loved ones, our friends and families, and generations to come.
Thank you for all of your support,
