My name is Amy Goble, and our family is originally from the Flint area and we now live in Brighton, Mi. I am honored to be participating in Dancing with the Chad Tough Stars.
I married my high school sweetheart, Rodney, over twenty one years ago. We have a ten-year-old son, Kingston, who enjoys parkour and playing with his dog, Flash.
I went to Central Michigan University, while Rodney went to the University of Michigan where he was a captain on the baseball team. Both of us went into physical therapy for grad school. Together, we opened Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists, a private physical therapy company with multiple locations.
After the sale of our business we founded the Legacy Center Sports Complex. Our Legacy mission is to have a positive impact on families and kids through sports, health and wellness.
In addition to Legacy, we formed The L. E. A. D. foundation a non profit organization that focuses on helping student-athletes, providing community service and supporting other non-profits through Leadership, Education, Action and Development.
While attending U of M, Rodney met Jason Carr. After reuniting with the Carr Family, we chose to join forces through our respective organizations.
I am dancing for all children battling cancer including our friend Emma Roberts. Emma is a thirteen-year-old Legacy athlete, battling Leukemia. She has continued to be #EmmaRobertsStrong while inspiring others to live life to the fullest.
In honor of Chad Carr and on behalf of Jason and Tammi and the entire Chad Tough Community help me raise awareness and funds to provide hope for future families and children diagnosed with DIPG.
