We have all recently experienced what it means to be quarantined, isolated from family and friends, and shut off from the rest of the world. Imagine if the ‘home’ where you are locked down is one you share with an abuser. Imagine what it means to be slapped around, threatened, belittled, sexually abused ….. having your phone broken so you can’t reach out for help. That’s Domestic Violence!
On October 10, I am walking to raise money for Partners for Women and Justice, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides free legal help for domestic violence victims and their children.
I intend to raise $3,000 and with your support, I hope to reach – and even exceed my goal! Please support my fundraising goal by clicking the link to the right. With your help, Partners can continue to provide crucial legal assistance to domestic violence victims during the pandemic and break the cycle of domestic violence one survivor and family at a time.
