Dear Family & Friends,
For my Bar Mitzvah, I am supporting Pitch In For Baseball, an organization that gives baseball equipment to children who don't have enough money to get baseball equipment. Baseball is my favorite game and I want it so that everyone who wants to play can be able to play. There are a couple of ways that you can help me achieve my goal of $1000 (enough to equip an entire high school baseball or softball team) and 27 pieces of equipment, one for each time the Yankees won the World Series.
I will also be collecting baseball equipment during my Bar Mitzvah weekend. Collection bins will be available at all events. PIFB will accept any type of new or gently used equipment but the things they need most are:
- Baseballs
- Gloves (RH/LH) 11” or larger
- BBCOR and USA Baseball Standard bats
- Catcher’s gear
Thank you in advance for helping me reach my goal!
Ami
Founded in 2005, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball believes that baseball and softball are effective tools for youth development. Not only do they give kids a chance to be a kid and play, but it also helps to create healthy communities, break down barriers, and instill valuable life lessons. PIFBS aims to reduce barriers to play and bring communities together by collecting and redistributing much needed baseball/softball equipment to groups serving under-resourced children. Since 2005, PIFB has donated more than $9 million in equipment to help 800,000 kids play ball in every state and 100 countries worldwide.
