Raising AWARENESS and FUNDS for ALS
Welcome to my fundraising page and THANK YOU for visiting - I'll keep this brief.
I am running in the 2019 FALMOUTH ROAD RACE for my second year on Team ALS ONE along with 129 other amazing individuals. My committment to this team and to the ALS community is to raise as much awareness and funds as I possibly can to aide in finding a CURE for ALS and continued quality care for those affected now.
My WHY is very simple ... My 33 year young friend Tucker was diagnosed with ALS 2.5 years ago. I will forever remember the grief I felt as I listened to his wife share this news with me and the helpless feeling I was left with. I made a choice that day to first learn about what ALS even was (thank you google) and to then find ways to personally make a difference (thank you ALS ONE).
This 7 mile race is just one of the ways, and I had success last year with surpassing my goal of raising $2,000 and actually crossing that finish line. This year I have raised my fundraising goal to $5,000 and I believe if I do my part with raising #ALSAwareness it could result in even more.
I will be sharing #ALSFacts with the intent of raising AWARENESS and FUNDS for ALS each and every time. Race day is August 18th. If I don't hit your inbox you'll find me sharing through my social media channels.
You to can MAKE A DIFFERENCE by donating and/or sharing my fundraising page and social posts with everyone you know, I thank you in advance for either.
