Ingrid Allstaedt was raised in WNC in the town of Brevard. She is the morning and noon meteorologist for News 13. She has her Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association. She received her Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University in 2017. Ingrid also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Ingrid was a member of the Track and Cross Country teams during her time at UNCA.
Ingrid previously worked at television stations in Raleigh and Eugene, Oregon. Ingrid has been working at WLOS since 2010, wearing several hats, including reporter and news anchor. Ingrid is a co-host on the AnchorMoms Podcast. Find it wherever you get your podcasts.
Ingrid and her husband have a four-year-old son, Hartmann, and a two-year-old girl named Liesl.
