As we take a moment to reflect on this challenging year, one word keeps reappearing: resilience. Resilience in the incredible families we feel lucky to serve. Resilience in a community that keeps showing up for one another. YOU are part of that community and this holiday season, we ask that you shed a little light and support our mission to empower families to thrive.
Make your donation today and help us reach our goal of $7,000 before the end of December!
Thriving Families offers programs that support women, children, and their families during pregnancy and just after a baby is born – a critical period of development for children’s futures. Our core program, MotherWise (www.motherwisecolorado.org) reaches more than 400 families a year. During the COVID-19 crisis, we've seen a significant uptick in need for mental health services and have expanded our programming to include La Luz postpartum depression groups, Little Owl Learners children's groups, and more openings for WiseWellness therapy services. While our programs are now offered virtually, we have pivoted to also doing home delivery of much needed items such as diapers, food, cribs, and car seats.
Pregnancy and the time just after a baby is born can be isolating and Thriving Families is here to give her the community, connection, and support she needs to not only navigate a challenging time, but to thrive.
