Life sometimes has ways to keep things in perspective and remind us we don't always have control about our surroundings. On July 24th, I was informed a 2nd tumor had reformed in my brain - 8 years after the original tumor had been removed. After consultation with the neuro-surgeon, a surgery was scheduled. The surgery was completed on August 20th and now it's time for healing and progress. But the real story is in a comment from the nuero surgeon regarding the amount of Brain Tumor's he had removed between 2010 and 2018. The number is 3000 tumors - from a surgeon in Peoria, IL. This should be our focus. How can we make sure to get the message out to those who don't know about our organization and have been affected? How can you assist? All funds we raise stay local to Peoria for Brain Tumor Research - University Of Illinois College of Medicine. Please assist me in support if you can.
