Most of you know my story pretty well, but for those of you who don't here we go. I was diagnosed with PAH in February of 2011 officially after many years of being blown off of by doctor's or being told I had asthma, (neither correct.) I spent 8 years on roller coasters of up and down. Being attached to pumps and oxygen. Trying to make the best of what life I had and what I could do. I was determined not to give up but most days that sounds easier than it was. In April of 2018 I started getting really sick. I honestly thought I had caught the flu. I did not realize I was days away from possibly dying.I went in the hospital on April 15th and by April 18th my lungs had crashed and I was being put on life support to try and make it to transplant. I was on life support for 11 days before we recieved a healthy pair of lungs. On April 28th I was given the gift of life and a second chance I will never be able to repay. Life is so finicky and short. Enjoy every moment as it is your last and help me continue to help find a cure for this awful disease. Love you all and thank you so much for your support and kindness in advance.
