I never thought that the day would come that I would find myself sitting in a chemotherapy infusion lab, hooked up to IVs and questioning everything about my life and future. Some days I doubted I would ever be well again. I had the support of an amazing medical team and the best family and friends anyone could ask for. I started to believe I could beat this disease which claims so many lives. I am beyond excited to have finished chemo and be in remission. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds crucial research into new treatments, like the one that I received. They also provide financial support to those who cannot otherwise afford treatment. I'm raising funds for this awesome foundation as a way to give back and celebrate my recovery. Have a few extra dollars? Willing to register as a bone marrow donor? Every bit helps.
