Dearest Friends and Supporters,
How are you?
We are right there with you, feeling the rollercoaster of emotions that have sprung forth with the arrival of covid-19 to our state and the world.
Beginning March 16th, the faculty and staff of Alabama Waldorf School catapulted into full -speed learning how to do our jobs from home, including teaching the children! It's a learning curve, but I think what we're building is something truly special that brings the beauty and goodness of Waldorf education into the digital age.
In an effort to counteract the financial difficulties presented to our community due to the Coronavirus, we are establishing the Alabama Waldorf School Emergency Fund. Currently, we have many families whose livelihoods are now uncertain and teachers who are depending on our school's budget for their paycheck. The Emergency Fund will support the school in this time of crisis. Community is the backbone of our school, and we see shining examples of it ever day.
It is a joy to serve you all, and we hope that even in the midst of such uncertainty, we can come together to support each other.
If you are able to make a tax-exempt donation to the Alabama Waldorf School Emergency Fund, find the blue donate button on this page. Any amount, no matter the size, makes a huge impact in our community. If you are interested in further information about ways you can help please contact Development Officer Brianna Payne at email@example.com.
Our hearts are with you. Take care.
