Hello, my name is Tiffanie. I am reaching out for help for Ricky Davis. About 2 yrs ago he came into my life as a complete stranger, little did I know , he was going to become my guardian angel ,best friend, my "run for my life go to person"whenever I found myself smackdab in the middle of the fire because of poor choices. It started out when I moved across from him into a fixer upper house. For a little over 4 mo. I had no electric, no water, no family, no income, no food, .I had my dog Roscoe' and that was it.Rick is the single handed reason I am alive today .One of the purest hearts I've ever encountered in another person. His day always began 4 Am. ish to get ready for work, usually with me at his door waiting eagerly for him to open up so that I could grab something to drink or a smoke and bathroom break whatever the case may have been, he'd then walk across the road to my house to get his vehicle because the evening before after getting off work,he'd park in my driveway so that I could charge my phone and get some warmth when needed. When the evening hit and he was off work,i knew that he would be pulling in soon. His routine never failed he would make sure I was ok, then walk water over to me, as soon as he finished cooking dinner he would be at the door with food in hand, in doing all of these things he never forgot my dog Roscoe' (let's just say getting skinny due to under eating was not gonna be a problem). These are only a few of the things Ricky did for me out of the kindness of his heart. Throughout the years I still found myself in the same flames of the fire as I always did. Homeless on the streets, losing 2 of the only men I've ever loved or been loved by within a year from each other, I tried everything to find myself right there with them.i had know will to live. Rick always seemed to find me when I needed a friend the most. Once again coming into contact with one another, I have once again been blessed to have known the true meaning of friendship, Ricky has opened his home to me .When I walked in and saw my dear friend his face lit up with genuine happiness! My heart was heavy mixed with joy and sadness at the overall situation I found him to be in. I've always known Ricky to work, he can always be found giving his all to help others out , regardless it being a friend or complete stranger. After serving our country in the United States Air Force,, he came home in hopes of finally being able to fulfilll his lifelong dream. All his life he had dreamed of owning his own business. The only thing now standing in his way was the remaining finances needed to get his dream up and running.Seeking out all available resources he knew, while having every door closed in his face, his faith lessened a little more. While we were talking yesterday I remembered hearing talk about people's be lives being changed by people around the world .I brought this up to him and he didn't believe it true , so I pulled up the website and began to show him the wonderfully things the Go Fund Me foundation made possible. Once again I saw a smile on his face and the smallest of hopes .I tell this story of my friend because he has selflessly given to all he comes in contact with , he risked his life for our country so we would have freedom. He never ask for anything back from anyone, doing without mostly everything with. No complaints..I am asking each of you that read this story to please look upon your hearts and find the kindness to help me raise the money needed to finally get his business going.I know out there someone are those who know what the struggle is especially for a veteran trying to fulfill his dream.Any and all donations given will make a huge difference and help make retired veteran Ricky Daviss' lifelong dream come true.. Thank you all, Tiffanie Schultz
