We Preserve Our Historic Literary Writers and Culture. Best Richardson African Diaspora Literature & Culture Museum is a non-profit African American, Veteran, and Woman-owned museum and bookstore. Our museum is dedicated to the education and enlightenment of diverse audiences. We highlight literary contributions of people of the African Diaspora whose ancestors were forced into enslavement and forbidden to read or write for centuries under colonization. When their descendants finally were allowed to read, they were segregated and given outdated books and poor structures in which to learn. The effects of which still exist today. We honor these ancestors by showcasing their literary growth in our museum. Since we began this museum with our own limited funds, we need assistance for our museum's growth.
