During our unit of environmental issues and solutions in Spanish class, our teacher conducted an activity that put us students in the lives of people in different social classes and their access to water in everyday lives. As I read the notecard tht described the person I was to portray in the activity, I knew right away I was one of the lower class. However, I did not realize the impact it would have on me, having to take that step back and see how someones daily life was effected. It was absolutley heartbreaking. After the activity, I knew I wanted to take action and find a way to help people just like who I was portrayed as in the activity.
