Imagine a life of solitude, with no family nearby, few friends, limited mobility, and a small, fixed income. Who would you turn to when you needed help? How would you know where to look?
AgeWell Long Beach Magazine and Resource Guide provides a consolidated index of local Long Beach resources for older adults and their caregivers, culling many of the services and contact information they need to find in one easy-to-use, easy-to-find magazine format directory.
The magazine, which is updated quarterly, includes an alphabetical directory of local private and government services, from taxi cabs to senior centers, as well as interesting articles, senior profiles, and helpful tips for safe and independent senior living. In addition to the large-font, printed guide, AgeWell is also available to browse on a desktop computer, tablet, and mobile phone.
AgeWell is primarily funded by advertising dollars, but we need your help to cover the cost of updating, printing, and distributing this invaluable publication. Please help us support the seniors living amongst us by making a donation to AgeWell Long Beach Magazine and Resource Guide today!
Donors will be included in a special mention in the magazine and your donation is tax deductible. On behalf of the low-income seniors of Long Beach, we thank you in advance for your support.
