At Agape, We have a heart to see every child loved and care for, This has led us to start a fund to help families with the adoption process and to help with fostering. (All donations are tax deductable)
Our first family for this fund is Lyndon and Lindsay Kauffman. They have been working on this process for quite a while and have paid for and raise a large amount of the costs already themselves. We want to help them out with this last little bit. Please consider partnering with us to share the love of Jesus with these children.
Here is their last update:Good News & Bad News
This journey has had more ups & downs than I can even remember! Such an emotional rollercoaster! This week, three months after Saraphina’s adoption was finalized, we finally received provisional approval for her visa!! The remaining step is for her to have an interview at the US Embassy in Barbados to receive her official visa. That leads me to the bad news…Due to rising COVID cases in the Caribbean, the US Embassy in Barbados has just closed its doors to all non-emergent visa situations. This news felt like a punch in the gut directly after the celebration of receiving our provisional approval! We don’t understand the timing of anything that has happened in the past year. We just continue to take our hurting hearts… along with that of our sweet, confused little girl… to the heart of Jesus! I know He was crying with us at the news of this newest delay… not because He was taken by surprise, but because He cares deeply for us.
