Aflac Texas Houston wants to make summer camp a reality for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Join our efforts in raising funds to provide scholarships for campers in need to go to The Arc of Greater Houston's Camp Champions.
Our challenge is for each of Aflac's 7 regions to sponsor one camper. Camp Champions costs $920 per person, so our goal is to raise a grand total of $6,440 to sponsor 7 campers. Our deadline is June 1, 2018! When making a donation, be sure to include in the comment section the name of your regional director. If you're a family member or friend of an Aflac agent who referred you to this page, include the agent's name. That way, we can track how much money each region has raised!
Coordinated by The Arc of Greater Houston, Camp Champions serves 125 campers with intellectual and developmental disabilities each summer. Camp Champions is a 6-day, overnight camp located at the beautiful Camp for All facility in Burton, Texas. Campers enjoy ropes courses, zip-lining, fishing, canoeing, arts & crafts, theater, archery, and more! This camp is entirely accessible and provides an exciting opportunity for people with disabilities to be independent, try new things, and create long-lasting friendships.
