Hello! I'm Maxime, an eleven year old girl who lives in Seattle/Washington. As most of you know, I have been supporting Afghan girls' education for now three years. Our first event happened in Seattle in September 2016 with the Head of the Afghan school, Razia Jan, and many friends who joined me in raising money for the K through 12 school that Razia founded over 10 years ago in Afghanistan, close to Kabul. The photos I uploaded show some of the events; incluing dinners at the Westland; The SkyLounge; The Museum of Flights and the North West FilmForum. We are now providing a free education to over 650 girls and we also created the Razia Jan Institute that offers midwife studies for the girls graduating from the school.
I enjoy most getting letters from the girls I support because they sound really happy and I feel they can really change their part of the world with their education. Last year more than 300 girls wanted to come to Razia Jan's school but they had to be turned away because we just did not have enough room. Hearing that really broke my heart so that's why I want to raise money for a new building so more girls can accomplish their dreams.
Please join me help the Afghan girls to stand up, learn and change the world!
