HELP US FUND QUALITY CARE FOR ALL GEORGIA CHILDREN
What would you spend 40% of your annual family income on? Buying a house? A car?
How about paying for child care? Yes, that is the situation many families in Georgia find themselves in: spending upwards of $9,000 on quality child care –that is more expensive than a year of-state public college education.
90% of brain development takes place before the age of 5. All our children deserve high-quality early learning experiences. Quality early care is the key to kindergarten readiness and lifelong success. BUT, it is unconscionable that many low-income families should pay 40% of their income on one child’s early education.
You know how passionate I am about ensuring all of our children have access to age-appropriate physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth and healthy food to support it. That is why I am coming to you – family, friends, and cheerleaders –to help me raise funds so that we can make these quality educational opportunities available to all the children in Georgia.
Quality Care for Children is raising $20,000 this summer for our Emergency Child Care Program –a program where QCC provides up to 12 weeks of child care scholarships (valued at $2,000 per child) and helps families find long-term solutions. Families we support are usually experiencing homelessness, family violence, job loss, or health crises–some of the challenges we have seen skyrocket during the pandemic. Will you join me to help curious, developing minds explore and expand their world?
No gift is too large or too small. Please give generously. Every dollar donated will help these babies grow into well-adjusted, independent human beings. (Yes! What we do is a big deal!)
Please join me to help support QCC – an organization that actively works to ensure that all children in Georgia have access to high-quality childcare – and that child care providers are equipped with what they need to be successful in all our communities.
Creating equity and paving the way for two generations to succeed.
For 40 years, Quality Care for Children (QCC) has worked to ensure Georgia’s infants and young children reach their full potential. QCC helps child care programs provide nutritious meals and educational care to young children so they are ready for success in school and helps parents access quality child care so that they can attend college or succeed in the workplace.
One of their incredible services to ALL GEORGIA RESIDENTS –
QCC helps connect parents with childcare, after-school care, and summer camps.
