1.6 Billion human beings lack adequate housing. 1.6B is the current estimate of the Global housing crisis.
Our mission is to dramatically help fix this Global crisis by BUILDING quality and sustainable affordable housing, homeless transitional housing and post disaster home rebuilding.
In America alone, an estimated 3.3 Million human beings are in need of a home, this gap continues to grow both in America and Globally. The supply is outnumbered by the demand at a crisis level.
We here at International Home Relief believe that when people have adequate shelter, humanity and society will prosper. We eagerly await the future to see the amazing things that will come from the individuals that are freed from the burden of lack of shelter. Psychologist Andrew Moslow says it best...
WHAT THIS CAMPAIGN WILL ACCOMPLISH:
The proceeds from this crowdfunding campaign will allow us to acquire of a parcel of land in Northwest Montana where we will put in place a conservation easement and the infrastructure for a subdivision and then we will actually build the subdivision homes by leasing a portable rapid building factory. The homes that we build in this project will be put up for sale to help ease the lack of inventory for affordable housing in the area. This project will be our pilot project for what will become a global solution.
We will accomplish our Global goals by BUILDING tens of thousands of quality and sustainable homes extremely rapidly with innovation and technology. Our process dramatically reduces the requirement of skilled labor and customary construction materials. Our method of building embraces the communities in which we serve, our homes will still require the indigenous recipients to help with some elements of the home’s construction, which is a good thing when people are engaged in their community and helping one another, a well-documented health benefit to all involved.
We are on the cutting edge of the solution for this crisis, specifically with the leasing of portable home building factories that will produce rapidly built quality and sustainable homes for all geographical regions where the need is or arises. The homes that we build are of superior quality with excellent insulative ratings, resistant to hurricanes, tornadoes, seismic events, vermin, rodents and wildfires. We are also are environmentally conscious and use recycled materials, biologically grown elements, post-consumer waste, wastes from farming as much as possible in the homes that we build.
I.H.R. 501C3 was founded in 2020 by Mitch Heuer, a builder from Montana with a vision to efficiently create quality sustainable homes for people in need of housing around the globe. He is an inventor with innovative ideas for turning post-consumer waste and locally available materials into homes. He sees the inaccessibility of housing in the communities where he works and is inspired to be a part of the solution. With experience in straw bale construction, natural home building, conventional construction, modular home construction, factory-built homes, tiny home construction, and more. Mitch, along with his team of passionate volunteers, builders, designers, and engineers has what it takes to bring solutions to reality.
Years of experience has successfully shown us why home building is cost prohibitive for the millions of those in need. Three contributing factors are the high level of skilled labor required, the lacking availability of those skilled people and the high and rising cost of building materials. We are fixing that and ushering in a paradigm shift.
We were driven to create this nonprofit due in part to the poor performance of other entities, including the Red Cross, to actually build homes for those in need.

We walk the walk and build homes… Together with your help we will be building a lot of homes rapidly!
Thank you! from all of us at International Home Relief.
