Touchstone Farm is located in Temple, NH and, not including our wonderful chickens, is home to over 35 animals - mostly horses, but also a handful of goats and sheep, our miniature donkey, and our mule. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is "to positively change lives through a partnership with horses and people of varying abilities, ages, and backgrounds." Touchstone Farm offers a rich and challenging variety of experiences in order to achieve this, including summer camp, riding and driving lessons, therapeutic riding lessons for individuals and school groups, equine-oriented educational workshops and certifications for a variety of national organizations, and specialty weekends.
In a time where COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is widespread, we have supported the movement of flattening the curve and have done so by temporarily cancelling our lesson programs and partnerships in order to keep our guests and staff at home as much as possible. Of course, we still have all of our amazing four-legged friends to feed and care for, and without the additional incoming revenue, we are in need of help.
The average cost of maintaining one of our horses is around $250 per month. We are looking for donations to match this amount in order to "Sponsor-A-Horse" for a month, or more! Please consider donating in order to keep our horses fed and cared for during this time, so we can keep as many people as possible at home, and still be able to continue our mission when we are able.
Our sincerest thanks, The Touchstone Farm Team
**Donations received in excess of the cost of direct horse care will be applied to ancillary operational expenses**
