Hi! My name is Addison Shenfeld and I am trying to raise enough money to help send a child between the ages of 8-12 years old to The Josselyn's Center Camp Neeka, a 6-week therapeutic day camp where children can experience a fun camp experience while working on socialization and other life skills. By reaching my goal of $2000, this would allow me to give a full, all expenses paid scholarship to one child. For my Bat Mitzvah project, I wanted to help and bring awareness to adolescent mental health challenges that are occurring around all of us every day. The Josselyn Center located in Northfield and Waukegan provides affordable outpatient psychiatric and mental health services to improve the lives of their clients, families and communities. Josselyn serves more than 1,700 children, adolescents and adults who face overwhelming situational challenges such as divorce and loss, and those living with more serious chronic conditions such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety and other diagnoses. Thank you in advance for donating as much as you feel comfortable to help me on my scholarship campaign.
