Hurricane Michael made landfall in the Florida panhandle on October 10, leaving entire neighborhoods and countless homes in complete devastation. Many have been displaced from their hometowns while the cities are in disrepair and countless others have no home to return to. Included in the latter are members of my own family who are near and dear to my heart.
Lori and Jonnie Adair are my aunt and uncle and lived off of East Avenue in Panama City, FL. The hurricane completely destroyed their home and most of their belongings. They salvaged what little was left to put into storage and are now staying with family members while they piece their lives back together. My aunt Lori also has no job to return to since her workplace was included in the path of destruction. On top of this, Jonnie and Lori recently took in two of my nephews, Joshua and Zachary (ages 9 and 11), and serve as their primary caregivers.
This family needs help now more than ever and 100% of your donation will go toward getting them back on their feet.
