The Andrew Curry Green Lake Swim is an annual fundraiser that aims to honor our friend and brother Andrew Curry Green as well as raise funds for scholarships and other charitable programs. Held annually on Northwood Lake in Northwood, NH, dozens of swimmers swim the three mile long lake in honor and remembrance of our brother Andrew, who was tragically killed on September 11th, 2001. Starting at the far end of the lake, they swim home to Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation, where Andrew served as a staff member and a camp leader for many years. Andrew’s legacy lives on through the Lake Swim as we remember his passion for the outdoors and his willingness to cheerfully serve.
In our seventeenth year, our current plan is to hold the swim in person this summer, similar to how it was held prior to 2020. If that changes, we will send an email to everyone who has registered so far and this description will always be updated with the latest info.
If you'd like to participate in the swim as a swimmer or a kayak spotter, you can register here. We'll ask for some information and get you set up to use this fundraising platform, and then you'll be ready to start spreading the word and collecting donations!
Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, to one of the teams or participants listed below. Your donation will directly support the programs and projects of The Key Foundation. You can learn more about all of those programs and projects here.
And if you’d like to join us on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation to support the swimmers, spotters, and canoe racers, and enjoy some delicious food and music at the George D. Koulheras Family BBQ, you can purchase tickets for yourself and your whole family in advance here.
