As many of you know, Abdu loves animals, especially animals that live in the African safari. For his birthday this year, (the big 7!) he is asking that people donate money to protect and help restore the habitat of these beloved animals.
One of Abdu's favorite animals is a zebra. He loves them so much he wanted to create a Happy Zebra Day (based off of Mo Willams' Happy Pig Day) during which we did zebra related activities and helped raise money to protect the Grevys zebra, (the most at risk species). In place of a gift for his birthday this year, he is asking that friends and family donate to the AWF to help protect these beloved animals so that they can live on in the world. With your help, he is hoping to make an impact.
African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is working around the clock to ensure these threatened species have a place in our future. They’re equipping anti-poaching patrols, working with governments and legislative officials to enforce wildlife trafficking penalties.
I was motivated by my son's concern for these beautiful animals to help raise awareness and take more responsibility to save them before it's too late. AWF has the scope to launch critical projects across the African continent — and we are hoping you will help us.
Please donate to our campaign. Even a small amount helps.
