Breast cancer can make anyone feel alone. While mortality rates have dropped 39% among women since 1989, this year about 266,120 American women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer, and 40,920 women are expected to die from the disease. But, together, we are stronger than breast cancer.
American Cancer Society Denim Days throughout October bring us together to help save lives from breast cancer. Please join ABA in a celebration on Thursday, October 3, 2019, by donating $5 or more to wear jeans and something pink to work. ABA will match all contributions over $5, so go for the 'or more'!
Since the event began in 1996, Denim Days participants have raised more than $97 million to make sure no one must face the disease alone. From investing in research to free rides to chemo and places to stay when treatment is far from home, the American Cancer Society is there for people every step of the way.
Thank you for your support! Let's set another record in 2019!
