Since 1979, AARW has been a home to API organizers, activists, and artists in the Boston area. Our organization is proud to celebrate 40 years, and we need your support to continue to grow!
This AAPI Heritage Month, we're asking you to help us sustain our organization. AARW has been a critical part of the Asian American and broader racial justice movement in Boston for 40 years; producing media content for our communities, organizing around gentrification, displacement, and immigrant rights, and creating a space and community for young API activists and organizers to find home and political community.
AARW continues to grow and shift with the times through critical community building and organizing work. We are growing our base of Vietnamese American young adults in Dorchester through DOT-I, building powerful curriculum and strong facilitators through the Sticky Rice Project, supporting API media and mediamakers through BAAFF, telling our diverse API stories through the Writers' Group, and deepening the skills of local API organizers through the Activist Training Institute. We are moving campaigns with partners across the City and State to fight displacement in all its form.
And we are doing all of this while building family and political connections to grow our work and the movement. Help us continue to build our power and celebrate our 40th bithday! #AARW40 #FundAPIPower
