Picture this - You are a child in NYC. A very noisy and bright NYC. You're an introvert. Making friends is not interesting to you. You don't speak much. You do like playing video games on your Xbox. One of the games you like to play is called Home Run Derby, You however have autism, and have no where to play baseball unless it's in the back yard with your parents, One day you bring home a flyer from school. It's for a baseball league for children just like you, You make new friends. You now have teammates. You get to be yourself. You get to express yourself the way you want too. You learn how to play baseball for real, not using the controller like you do at home. And after an awesome season, you get your first ever team trophy, You're now a baseball player,
This was my son's Aaron's experience with D3 Bronxchester Challenger League. This year, we're signing up for baseball again. However we're doing it a little different, My wife and I saw how Aaron changed as the season progressed, We loved watching him out there with his team, and we're looking forward to that again. This year, we would like your help. We decided to help the D3 Bronxchester Little League, and you can too. Anything you can give to help the league would greatly be appreciated, It's not just for Aaron's team, it's for all the teams, and participants.
Please open up your heart, and help us reach our goal.
Peace and blessings
