When Aaliyah Rosemarie Lee found out that her cancer was spreading rapidly this year, the young sophomore told her mother that her one wish or goal was to graduate high school. Her mom let the high school staff know, and they did the unimaginable - they planned a full-fledged graduation ceremony with all the bells and whistles just for Aaliyah. Knowing that the cancer had spread to her pancreas, brain, and liver, Aaliyah has remained brave and kept her sense of humor. She wants to help other kids who must go through this terrible disease.
