I'm doing something a little different for Valentine's Day this year: In honor of my westbound trip last year--which I started on February 14th--I am asking that you donate to the National Park Foundation. Your contribution will help maintain our national parks, offer education to others--such as through their Every Kid In a Park initiative--and continue being able to provide programs for others to participate in in order to protect our park's treasures. Not only will your donation help the NPF do all of this and then some, but every donation will be put into a raffle, and for valentine's day I will select one name who will get a goodie basket full of love from me personally. (It will be personalized depending on whose name I draw, but you can guess it's gonna be good good good.)
The only word I can use to describe my trip last year is "magic", and I want to ensure that everyone everywhere can someday experience that magic for themselves. It is important now more than ever that we protect our parks and the people linked to them.
