Our Rescue opened in July 2019, so we are a new rescue. We have taken in feral, stray, surrendered, and hording case cats. We started with the TNR system and have returned many of the cats to their communities due to those cats being too feral to socialize. We have had many people call us up to help very sick and dying kittens. The first one was nine days old and the mother rejected it because it was so sick. We took the little thing in and brought it back to the rescue and saved its life. My daughter kept her and it was her first cat. From there we have socialized many ferals and hav been able to adopt them out. We have several now that we are still working with and we hope they too will be adoptable. The socializing process takes a long time and we work hard to make sure they are adoptable, if not they will eventually be sent to a feral community.
At this time we have a very sad situation with one of your surrenders Missy. Missy went in for her yearly checkup and the vet found that she has a heart murmur. We were informed that she is going to need an ultrasound. They need to see if they can determind why she has a murmur, when all her labs came back normal. This is going to be a long process and very expensive for our rescue. It might end up being a life long medical needs cat. This is the first of many cats that will need lots of medical test and surgeries.
We need your help with these medical expenses and I am hoping all of you fantasic animal lovers will help out!
