Peg (Long) Tocco passed away in July, after a battle she fought for most of her life with a tenacious and undefeated enemy called primary progressive multiple sclerosis. She was the strongest and most positive force for optimism that we have ever known. She taught us to climb Everest, whatever our Everest May be.
On January 13, 2019, her son Jim will finally climb his, by participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon. He hopes to use it as an opportunity to remember his mom, and to put a spotlight on this disease that affects thousands of people across the globe.
