What does it take to really change a life? Ubuntu Pathways breaks the cycle of poverty by providing South Africa's most vulnerable children with what they truly deserve - everything. Ubuntu's programs are designed to provide an integrated support system centred around health, education and household stability. Redefining the traditional theory of 'going to scale', Ubuntu commits to guiding 2,000 children in Port Elizabeth's townships on a pathway out of poverty. Ubuntu's cradle-to-career approach highlights the difference between merely touching a life versus fundamentally changing it.
On October 13th, I will be running the Chicago Marathon on behalf of this incredible organization. There is no set goal for this fundraising initiative; any donation, big or small, is truly welcomed and will be directly applied to creating change in the lives of those who need it most.
