Funds from this peer-to-peer fundraising effort and walk support the following:
17 different peer or family support groups throughout the state
12-week intensive courses, one-day workshops, presentations and provider education trainings in mental health recovery, management, treatment, and symptoms.
Advocacy to ensure a voice for peers and family members at the local, state and federal level to protect funding and ensure access to the right care at the right time in the right setting.
We are also excited to announce the launch of a new program! In Our Own Voice is an educational program in which two trained speakers share their compelling personal stories of living with mental illness and achieving recovery. Funds from the MINDwalk will support the program.
Please help as much as you can. NO donation is too small!
