Positive Tracks is an organization that helps people who are less fortunate or who have other challenges by supporting individuals or groups to raise money through events centered on the teamwork and community of sports.
This charity stands out to me because sports, and running in particular, has changed my life. I’m now 14, but when I was younger, I was told that I wouldn’t walk - from hard work and never giving up, today I run, swim and ski. Sport brings so much happiness to me, and it is the perfect way to bring groups together to raise money for others.
I love running so much that June 2nd, I am running the Covered Bridges Half Marathon (cbhm.com) to raise money for Positive Tracks. I believe it is important to open our hearts to those who can benefit - together we can make a difference in this world. Even small efforts can make this world a better place.
