OUR STORY
STANDING UP FOR OUR COMMUNITY

The Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation (CLCF-a 501c3) was founded by the Chicago City Council Latino Caucus (CCCLC) to serve as a vehicle for improving access to higher education by way of scholarships, internships, and mentoring opportunities for Chicago's Latino youth. To date, the Foundation has awarded a total of $440,000 to 88 students.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is governed by the 13 Latino Caucus members who have collectively committed to further advance its mission by creating a pipeline of Chicago's next generation of Latino leaders through their leadership academy.

Membership in the CCCLC is not limited to City Council Members of Latino heritage but rather is inclusive of city council members whose population majority is Latino. This dynamic and diverse group of leaders provide the insight, direction, and optimism needed to pursue its overall mission of representing the best interests of the Latino community.
