Most of us have experienced the devastating effects of cancer, either through a loved one, a colleague, or a friend. Cancer not only affects the life of a patient, it impacts the lives of their friends and family members. Gilda’s Club Rochester (GCR) offers free support to men, women, teens, and children impacted by cancer. The club’s name and inspiration comes from the Saturday Night Live comedienne, Gilda Radner, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 1989. Gilda’s spirit lives on through GCR’s ability to provide over 1,200 free programs reaching more than 17,000 Rochesterians each year.
On March 23, 2019, The PRIMA Group of St. John Fisher College will host the Sixth Annual Gilda’s Cup to raise awareness and funds to benefit GCR. The PRIMA Group is a national award winning student-run agency providing pro bono public relations, marketing, and creative work to an array of clients.
Any amount of support is greatly appreciated and we would love to see you at our event, thank you!
