I feel so fortunate to have a wonderful, supportive family and friendships that I cherish. As I think about my 50th birthday, I would like nothing more than to contribute to the battle against cancer. My older brother died from childhood Leukemia at the age of 5 and my Mom battled with breast cancer until it metastasized and ultimately took her life as well. The impact to my family has been devastating, but we have hung together and keep their memories alive. We will always remember how lucky we are that they were in our lives.
Our family is just one of millions that have been touched by cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is at the forefront in the fight to cure cancer as well as improving the quality of the lives of patients and their families. Last year alone, LLS invested $46 million in ground breaking research, while also providing education, support, policy and advocacy.
Thank you so much for supporting LLS!
