Last year, I got diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (B-cell). Now, this is a type of cancer that they can treat, but they cannot prevent it. So I've gone through my fair share of radiation treatments over the last 16 months.
To symbolize how sudden cancer can come into our lives and how anyone can develop "obstacle immunity" to what life throws at us, I am going to be competing in two Spartan races in December. The Spartan Sprint on Dec 7th and the Spartan Beast (pretty much a half-marathon on 'roids) on Dec 14th.
My goal is to get 200 people to donate $5 to help fund cancer research or have them do 5 burpees to spread awareness.
When you donate, write the name of the person of someone you know who is fighting cancer, and post it with the link to this fundraiser on social media. Tag someone to do this challenge, as well! use the hashtag #5burpeesforthefight
If you chose not to donate, help us spread awareness and post a video of yourself doing 5-burpees (Spartan-style) and calling someone out!
A'oo! A'oo! A'oo!
